Steve Goes To The Beach

Steve has been a shelter resident for a long time. He is an awesome dog who loves people and going on walks. This week Steve got a huge treat! We took him on a field trip out of the shelter to the beach. Steve loved riding around in the car. He walked on a leash and explored the beach like champ!

While Steve had a blast, for us at Sochi Dogs these excursions are important to help us understand how dogs will behave in different environments. We are confident that Steve will be a terrific family dog! Tell your friends and help him find the perfect home!

Meet Cookie

Cookie is our newest rescue! We found her dodging cars trying to cross the street. She is just 3 months old and blind. We just got news that with some treatment she may be able to see.

Can you help us cover her veterinary expense?

Snow Day!

You may be surprised to learn that it hardly ever snows in Sochi and a small amount of snow is enough to bring the city to a standstill. So when adopted Sochi dogs see snow they get very excited! Take a look at these once homeless or abandoned dogs enjoying a snow day with their new families. Whether they are running, rolling around, strutting about in their new boots, or playing with their friends — snow brings endless opportunities to have fun!

Help Carry

When you’re just a tiny 4-month old puppy the world can be a scary place. Imagine being all alone, large loud cars passing by, no-one to help and then all of sudden a loud bang and you’re thrown into the middle of the highway. You recover but large cuts on your arms and legs make it painful to move. That’s what happened to Carry. We don’t know her complete story, we found her scared and in pain with several large cuts around her legs which we can only presume happened as a result of a car accident.

We rushed Carry to the vet for x-rays and blood work. Thankfully she doesn’t have any broken bones, however the cuts are inflamed and will take time to heal. To help Carry recover we’ve ordered medication and special high quality food to ensure she is getting the proper nutrition. Carry has a long road before she is fully recovered, please donate to help us care for her.
