The Dnipro Shelter // КОВЧЕГ Товариство захисту тварин (Дніпро)
The Dnipro Shelter is home to 270 animals -- including dogs, cats, and a small herd of goats! Built by volunteers from found materials in 2012, its a true labor of love that brings joy to the community even in the most difficult times. Today the shelter has three full-time staff members who care and feed all the animals and run a hotline to assist anyone who has found a stray. Even during the war, the shelter does its best to adopt animals by having volunteers hold regular adoption events in the center of Dnipro. Learn more about the Dnipro Shelter on our blog.
