I had an amazing experience adopting through Sochi Dogs. They took time to talk through which dogs might be the best fit for us and ultimately guided us towards the perfect dog for our family. They took time out of their busy schedules to send extra pictures or answer more questions and they were always patient and kind. The Facebook group of Sochi adopters has been a great place to get advice and see fun updates. Sochi Dogs does amazing work and I always recommend them to friends looking to adopt!

We found Mingu aka Cooper the Beagle online, reached out to Sochi Dogs and the process was involved but seamless! They really make sure you are a good fit for the dog which is great for everyone. We drove up to meet our little new family member and fell in love. He's everything we were told and expected. Sochi does good work saving the lives of these poor animals. My wife and I adopted a Spaniel mix from Korea through Sochi Dogs. From start to finish it was a warm, well outlined experience. We got to pick up our new family member just a couple of blocks from our home in New York City, and can't believe the dedication and kindness of the entire Sochi team who brought our new pup halfway around the world to meet us. The adoption process with Sochi Dogs was very easy. My application was reviewed quickly and I was referred from the dog I was applying for to another that more suited our lifestyle/environment. We had an older dog at the time so we were nervous about how the two would get along - Sochi Dogs (and their online community) supported us through the acclimation period and offered helpful tips. I adopted Maggie in 2020. It was a very easy process and I loved the option of foster-to-adopt that Sochi Dogs offer. They were really easy to work with and they truly care for the dogs they rescue. A year later, I offered to foster another Sochi Dog which turned out to be a foster-failure as we could not let our Abby go. Now we are part of the Sochi family, which is a great resource of information, love, and pictures sharing :) between all of those who adopted through Sochi Dogs. These women at Sochi Dogs really give their heart and soul to help connect dogs in need to families that are ready to open their hearts to a new best friend. I didn't feel pressured, rushed, or misled at any point during the adoption process, and I'm very happy we took the chance with this rescue.

I continue to be very impressed with Sochi Dogs rescue. They check to make sure the people adopting will take care of their new pet. The dog I got arrived in great health and all shots up to date, spayed and well cared for. They held my check for several weeks to make sure all was well. Excellent rescue.

We adopted Stella Marie in 2020 and the process was simple yet very thorough! I absolutely loved the support from the rescue organization in the beginning while Stella Marie was settling in with us.
We became part of the adoptee's FB page right away and that also proved to be (and still is) a great supportive community. I still love seeing the new adopted pups and families every day on FB. It's so great that they do a reunion every year-I've never been able to go due to schedule conflicts-but I see and hear what a great time everyone has had.
