Plusha and Mitya.

Plusha was lost in the street in Sochi. Mitya was a heart-worm positive senior depressed after losing his family in Ukraine… today they share a last name and live their best life with a loving family in PA!

Stories like this are what Sochi Dogs is all about. Thank you so much to our rescue partners, flight volunteers, and donors who make these happily-ever-afters possible!

Just Rescued.

We need everyone’s healing thoughts today. Our friends in Dnipro just rescued this senior pup, he was run over by a car on an 8 lane highway. A former volunteer found him bleeding on the side of the road and was able to get him to a hospital. He has a fractured pelvis and a tumor on his face. He has been at the hospital since this morning and his condition is stable. He is getting the care he needs.

Please send your good thoughts!

Shantie needs our help!

A year ago Shantie was rescued from a collapsed coal mine. The accident broke her back but not her spirit! Shantie is full of joy and love. Her favorite activity is rolling around in the grass!

For the past year, she has been living at the Dnipro Shelter in Ukraine. Just recently her shelter-mate got adopted and before the cold winter months, Shantie deserves to find a home too. She can be transported anywhere in Europe.

Read her story and contact us if you know of a rescue, shelter, or individual that can help: https://www.sochidogs.org/shantie

Vaccination Day

Some snaps from a recent vaccination day at the Dnipro shelter: A team of k-9 shelter residents supervised, as a vet team came out to the Dnipro shelter to vaccinate all the recently rescued dogs.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Toretsk rescue mission this summer!
