Meet Byron, a young and exceptionally intelligent AKC-certified German Shepherd. Sadly, Byron's previous owner fell ill and could no longer take care of him. Now, Byron is in search of a new home that can provide him with love and adventure!
This handsome boy already knows various commands and is both house and crate-trained. He gets along very well with other dogs and is always eager for good play. Cheerful and enthusiastic, Byron loves to play with toys and balls and he is excellent on a leash and in the car.
Byron is incredibly sweet and affectionate. Even though he does not jump on people, it is important to note that due to his size, he needs a home without small kids. Currently, Byron is in a foster home in PA with a few toy-breed dogs, and he gets along wonderfully with all of them. Byron hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but he doesn’t show any prey instinct, so we believe he should do just fine with cats.
