Sweet Chia is looking for a loving family! This gorgeous girl is medium-sized, knee-hight, calm, and mellow. Chia is exceptionally intelligent, she is not very food motivated but she wants to please. She listens, is easy to redirect and she knows a few commands already. Chia LOVES to play with toys, chase balls, nap in the sun, and get pets!
Chia recently moved to a foster home in NJ and she picked up the house rules very quickly, she is house-broken and crate trained, she isn't destructive and not a barker, and she sleeps well through the night. Chia gets along with the 3 dogs in the foster home and she would definitely benefit from having another friendly and well-socialized pooch at home.
Chia was rescued from a dog meat farm when she was a month old along with her mom and brother by the Beagle Rescue Network in South Korea. She was very much loved at the shelter but the shelter has been her only home and she can get overwhelmed in a new environment. Give her some time to settle in and you will see how her curious, playful, and happy personality is shining through! Chia would prefer the quiet life of the suburbs to that of a bustling city and she would do better in a house with a fenced-in yard.
