Max was living in a tiny dog house ( see the short video below) when he was accidentally discovered by animal control that got a tip about a dog on a chain trapped behind a fence, but it was a different dog, not Max. They rescued both dogs and asked a local rescue organization to take Max to a foster home. It happened 5 months ago in a small village in Latvia.
Since then, Max discovered that the bed can be soft and warm and he can have food every day. He learned how to play with toys and how to walk on a leash. He knows that he has to do his business only outside and is perfect at following the rules, Max is 100% house-broken!
Max is very gentle with kids, great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and does not mind cats! He is smart, calm, and curious, he does not guard his food and toys and is very affectionate. He is thrilled when someone is talking to him and petting him. Max loves to go to the dog park and then stop at the local cafe just to get some attention. Max will be an excellent playmate and he would love to have a K-9 friend at home.
