URGENT: EVACUATING TORETSK
Toretsk, Ukraine is under attack. We’ve partnered with our friends at the Dnipro shelter to send a van with humanitarian aid and rescue 50 dogs and cats.
Most of Toretsk has been evacuated and now only one vehicle is allowed into the city to rescue the hundreds of dogs and cats left behind — many of them are helplessly chained or locked up in yards. Rescuers bring them to a nearby town where volunteers from across Ukraine are coming together to get them out.
The new rescues just arrived at the shelter. Until they are evaluated by a vet, we won’t yet know what kind of care they will need. We need to be prepared for everything.
