Asya’s story is heartbreaking but also hopeful. She was accidentally found wrapped in a blanket, trapped in the manhole, likely lying there for two days, unable to move.
Our Dnipro partners jumped in to help. She was brought to the vet hospital, and they found that her lungs were damaged and she was struggling to breathe. On top of that, she was cold and severely dehydrated.
She was immediately placed in an oxygen chamber, X-rays were taken, and the vet began the necessary treatments. Now, Asya is still in the hospital, but she’s feeling much better. She’s a sweet, young dog, and we’ll do everything to help her heal, covering her veterinary expenses and rehabilitation care.
