Rescued From The Roof
Richie, our newest shelter resident was rescued from the roof of this newly constructed building. People in the neighborhood had seen him on the top of the building for several days. Since the building is unoccupied no one could get to him until yesterday when a worker finally answered calls.
After he was taken down he was immediately taken to Vlada's apartment. The little guy was very thin and dehydrated. There are a number of wounds on his body but its hard to tell exactly what he has been through.
Richie is about 4 years old and 15 pounds. He is very smart. It has only been one day and he already knows his name, can give a paw and asks to go outside to do his business. Richie is on special food and will be taken for a vet exam as soon as possible.
