We got a call...
This week we received a call from our friends at ALK Construction. They were working on a site and pulled out this Mama and her seven puppies from underneath a shed.
Our shelter and puppy quarantine area is filled to capacity but our Shelter Director Vlada could not turn a blind eye. She brought food and set up a temporary shelter for the family at the site. They are now safe behind a closed gate with the workers keeping a close eye on them and Vlada coming to clean, and feed them every evening after work. The entire family is getting dewormed and when they are ready they will receive their first round of vaccinations, after which we hope to be able to free up room at the shelter for them.
