Jack is calm, house-trained, and fantastic on a leash. With no prey drive, hiking with him in the woods is a real joy. He enjoys being outdoors, so a home with a yard would be ideal for him. Jack does not have separation anxiety and is not a barker, he is sensitive, mellow, and quiet. Jack ignores cats and gets along with other dogs, although he isn’t very playful.
Jack is very affectionate with people he knows. However, he is submissive around new people and will need a few days to get to know you and adjust to his new surroundings. Once he's comfortable, he will follow you everywhere and be your loyal friend for life.
